As the days get longer and the weather improves, one of the most prominent trends from the Summer 2011 collections was bold pops of colour .
As seen at Gucci, Jil Sander and Burberry Prorsum the brightest of colours were used in all forms; lime green leather jackets, jewel tone pantsuits and boldly clashing blaocks.

If your a little hesitant to go full on colour blocking, why not incorporate this hot Summer trend into your make-up bag. 
Eye-popping colors for your eyes are a real must-have for Summer 2011. Get ready to bring out those eyes using pastels and bold, bright shades of green, yellow, orange, fuchsia, or blue, with an icy touch, especially for a unique, evening event or a night out with your friends. You can add an electric vibe to your eye makeup using a phosphorescent eyeliner and intensify your look (Loewe, Peter Som), or you can apply a colored eyeshadow (Christian Dior). You can add pops of color and create a soft, colorful smokey eye makeup (Rochas, Etro, Oscar de la Renta, Jason Wu).
