The big hair trend to come out o London Fashion Week this A/W is the fishtail plait. Whether it was to the side or tousled and messy, the fishtail was seen on model after model.

Charles Worthington stylists created the “tousled tail” for a show. This is a fishtail plait which is pulled out slightly at the sides to give that messy, immperfect look. This look was chosen as it worked well with the deep plunging backs of the dresses in the Erdem show.

The stylists also mixed a salt water using two teaspoons of salt and blowdried it into hair to ensure it stayed in place once plaited- a great tip for keeping your tresses in place for that perfect poolside look.

To be on trend this summer make sure you wear a fishtail plait in your hair.
