Can’t contain your excitement for the triumphant return of Sex and the City 2? From the streets of New York to the sands of Abu Dhabi, Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda are back for film number two, a middle- eastern adventure featuring the return of old flame Aiden. If the pics are any indication of how fabulous the girls will look in the flick, we’re in for the ULTIMATE style feast this summer.
I could barely sit still with all the excitement when I seen these pics, without a doubt its deemed to be yet another trend setting phenomenon.
Strutting their stuff in the desert, Charlotte and Miranda embraced cowboy chic, to Samantha doing her best Cheopatra look while Carrie looked foxy. Samantha gets gagaified in this red dress adorned with spikes on its shoulders and lots of chain metaling detail. I’m loving S.J.P Madonna inspired get-up featuring a tutu, black lace leggings, white pumps and a bustier.
Could the fashion be any better?! I’m sure we’ll all be donning the desert chic et 80’s look a la Carrie this summer, with accompying eighties retro make-up.
If the new SATC sequel wasn’t enough to drive us crazy with anticipation for the movie next month, wait until you hear the soundtrack. It is full of music superstars and even a handful of original tunes. Jennifer Hudson and Leona Lewis sing a duet together. Liza Minnelli covers Beyonce’s chart-topper Single Ladies and Alicia Keys performs her own rendition of the Blondie classic Rapture.
For dedicated fans, like moi clamouring for anything new and SATC related, theres good news ahead, Candice Bushnell’s releases her new book, The Carrie Diaries a teen prequel to the famous franchise tomorrow. Set during Carries high school years, the book reveals the buddy fashionistas pre- drama relationships and how she begun her career as a writer.
Pass the cosmos and roll on May 28th!

Lusty Lash,this one of the newest beauty products to hit the industry in 2010. This lash enhancing serum has been blended with pure natural ingredients and is bursting with lash growth power and the best part is “ANYONE CAN USE IT”.
This clear serum contains antioxidants so you can also apply it around the eye area to smooth out fine lines and wrinkles, {dont worry you won’t grow a hairy face}.
The applicator is similar to a liquid eye liner brush and for best results apply the clear serum to both top and bottom lash roots for longer, stronger, thicker, fuller lashes and is great for thickening up fine eyebrows or filling in those annoying bald patches that never seem to grow. {sorry boys I dont think it works on receding hair lines}

Fibrewig Mascara

You will love using this with your clients as it gives you the look of false eyelashes or eyelash extensions without the mess!
You just apply it like regular mascara but as you layer it on the lashes, they seem to grow right under your hand. But unlike regular mascara it doesn’t clump or smear as it’s made from a unique film-coated formula.
So how does it work? It’s not magic but the power of science! The mascara is made from two strands of very fine nylon fibres; one short and one long. As you layer it on the lashes, the two strands intertwine and seal onto each other as well as the lashes. This gives the appearance of super-long lashes with lots of flirt! Regular mascaras are liquid which increases the danger of panda-eyes but as this is made from fibres that won’t happen!

Have you ever wanted to get involved with a charity but not been sure what you can offer?
Well, George Hammar, beauty guru and chairman of Urban Retreat, created a range of makeup and beauty products in memory of his sister-in-law who died of cancer. The range is called ‘All for Eve’. Money raised through sale of the products goes to the Eve Appeal charity which funds research into gynaecological cancer which affects women.
