As you know professional Makeup Artists work very closely with our clients. We’re standing right up next to them, moving around during stressful times in their lives – wedding days, photo-shoots or on film-sets. We need to look professional but be unobtrusive at the same time. Smelling right is just as important as looking right in these situations. We’re looking for a balance between our favourite perfumes and not overwhelming the clients!
Some great perfumes with a cool, delicate scent are:
- Daisy in the Air from Marc Jacob is his new Spring scent and you’ll love it! Buy it at Brown Thomas.
- Pop into the Body Shop for their gentle Spring fragrance; it’s called ‘Love Etc’ so how could you resist?
- Or if you want to splash out the new Prada scent, out in April is promoted as being a mere touch of scent. Look out for Infusions at the House of Fraser in Dundrum Shopping Centre
- And if Juicy Couture is your favourite scent, the Savvy Shopper blog tells us they are coming to Kildare Village from today! Bargain scent, you can’t go wrong.

Here’s to the latest trend in youthful skin!!!! A four in one moisturiser….. Clean Start is a product range developed under theumbrella of Dermalogica!!! A range that is originally for teens, but this particular product is one of my favourites! This miracle creams name is ‘brighten up SPF 15′ as the hints are in the name…. does exactly what its says on the tin! It brightens the skin with the aid of shimmers and natural tints! not only is this wonder just a tinted moisturizer it is a sun protection factor of 15!! always remember to exfoliate, stop the aging before it starts girls!!
We’ve still got Oscar fever here at LA Makeup! Did anyone else see Gabourey Sidibe, Oscar-nominated for her role in Precious and think WOW! She looked so great. We wanted to tell every insecure teenager in the world to look at that smile. Yes, it does help if you’re wearing Marchesa and have your makeup done by Toby Fleischman but still, we loved her look.
