Irish Beauty Show 2010

Friday, April 9th, 2010

irish-beautyWell girls, I gotta fill you in on my day out last week, in that awful horrible drizzly rain, covered with our multicoloured brollies, saving our hair from the attack of the fuzz!! within arms reach I could see the door…. the smell of tanning and waxing products wafted to my noise!

What awaited us was ‘willie wonkas chocolate factory’ for beauty therapists!!! Twice a year  the Irish Beauty Professional trade show is hosted in the RDS!! This is were you will find all the latest hot trends in the industry! For students it was brilliant for getting your starter packs and getting a grasp  of what was involved! For therapists already working or maybe networking  this was the place to go as the big brand names as well as the smaller hidden treasures can be found!! For us tutors it was fantastic to network and meet other tutors in our very own little sanctuary to sit in on talks and lectures! After sampling the delights and seeing new and familiar faces I skipped out with a bags full of tasty treats for the salon!!   Keep posted for the latest in products and treatments from the show!
