Can’t contain your excitement for the triumphant return of Sex and the City 2? From the streets of New York to the sands of Abu Dhabi, Carrie, Charlotte, Samantha and Miranda are back for film number two, a middle- eastern adventure featuring the return of old flame Aiden. If the pics are any indication of how fabulous the girls will look in the flick, we’re in for the ULTIMATE style feast this summer.

I could barely sit still with all the excitement when I seen these pics, without a doubt its deemed to be yet another trend setting phenomenon.

Strutting their stuff in the desert, Charlotte and Miranda embraced cowboy chic, to Samantha doing her best Cheopatra look while Carrie looked foxy. Samantha gets gagaified in this red dress adorned with spikes on its shoulders and lots of chain metaling detail. I’m loving S.J.P Madonna inspired get-up featuring a tutu, black lace leggings, white pumps and a bustier.
Could the fashion be any better?! I’m sure we’ll all be donning the desert chic et 80′s look a la Carrie this summer, with accompying eighties retro make-up.

If the new SATC sequel wasn’t enough to drive us crazy with anticipation for the movie next month, wait until you hear the soundtrack. It is full of music superstars and even a handful of original tunes. Jennifer Hudson and Leona Lewis sing a duet together. Liza Minnelli covers Beyonce’s chart-topper Single Ladies and Alicia Keys performs her own rendition of the Blondie classic Rapture.

For dedicated fans, like moi clamouring for anything new and SATC related, theres good news ahead, Candice Bushnell’s releases her new book, The Carrie Diaries a teen prequel to the famous franchise tomorrow. Set during Carries high school years, the book reveals the buddy fashionistas pre- drama relationships and how she begun her career as a writer.
