Here is Kate’s fake tan horror story:

I was going to a christening and just a bit before I decided to use a gradual tan thinking it was instant nothing was coming up so I put more and more on and it made a tiny bit of a difference so I decided to go pale in the end but as we were getting out of the car on the way to the church I looked down and my leg and it was Cheesy puff orange. I was panicking people were laughing and staring at me. The worst part is I was the godmother I tried to tell them I had to change as it was too embarrassing but the christening was starting any minute and my house was a good hour away , When I walked up onto the alter the priest stared at me and just laughed. The room went from quiet to everybody whispering. Hands down the most embarrassing moment of my life and I don’t think my relatives will ever let me live it down.

Tan-Tastic Weather!!

Loving the sunny weather but nothing lasts forever – including my tan!

Thank goodness for fake tan! At the moment I am loving Xen Tan Dark Lotion, it offers you a great, lasting natural looking tan.

If you want great fake tanning results, exfoliate and moisturise thoroughly before you apply fake tan – then repeat from the day after application.

Although doing this may shorten the ‘lifespan’ of your tan ( hastening the need for re-application), it will stop your tan becoming dull and ‘lackluster’(avoid nut based scrubs, though, which can lead to patchiness) the backs of hands tend to fade fastest, so, if you notice this happening, top them up every other day with a gradual / daily tanner

Attention all chocolate lovers – tan lovers that is!

fake-tan-2 As you all know we have recently stocked the fabulous Xen Tan! With its gorgous olive tone, all of us at LA sure look like we have got off the plane from Barbados!

But for all those tan virgins who are still deciding on their favourite, I have tried out Rich Silken tinted self tan by ‘Vita Liberata’.

I don’t no about guys but I cant afford the days of drying scaly tan and nights of scrubbing to get it off before I do another layer in prep for my night out….

SO let me introduce you to ‘Rich Silken tinted self tan’ by ‘Vita Liberata’ It is so easy to apply!! its a rich chocolate cream, always exfoliate before you apply any tan! I have found the best way is with a tanning mitt. squgge a blob on to the mitt and rub gently on your dry clean fresh skin. it is streak free due to product being infused with silk and organic extracts. By the time you have applied over your body the Tan is INSTANTLY DRY! what I really love is the way it fades!!! fades evenly with out that snake skin appearance, and lets be honest there is nothing worse! this delicious cream is odourless{ to a degree} the tan has been advertised that its “totally odourless” unfortunately this is the only thing that I disagree with, although the smell is slight and hasn’t to date destroyed my bed sheets!!!
