From a Students Point of View – Module 2 by Siobhan Blacklock

bjb9774-low-res-web-onlySiobhan Blacklock is one of LA Make-Up’s Module 2 full time students, having completed her course in November 2009.

In Siobhan’s own words, this is what she thought about our Module 2 Course:

I completed the module 2 course today. I would like to share my experience of the course. The class was quite small which meant we all got individual attention and guidence. As I had no previous make up experience I found this course to be an excellent starting point.

During the course we had five different make-up artists teaching us. This from my perspective ensured we were exposed to many different styles and techniques which I found very helpful. Each day was different and the tutors utilised their time very well. This course was also great fun and the tutors were always friendly and highly professional.

At the end of the course I got the opportunity to practise my new skills. I made up professional models for a photoshoot which will be in my portfolio. The model looked amazing, I was very confident doing the models make-up. I now hope to persue a career in make-up and I would highly recommend this course.
