LA Creative Pro Experts have put together a masterpiece special effects 9 Module Course based on the best and most up-to-date techniques used in today’s TV, Film & theatres from all over the world.
The Specialist Effects Department has been categorised as 9 key elements of Special Effects Make-Up Artistry. Each level of the course can be done as a separate course, students wishing to progress further can progress to the next or complete the elements altogether.
This amazing course can open new doors into the theatre, film and TV industry. If you are already a make-up artist or would like to start a new career in the special effects and bodypainting industry, this course can offer you the techniques and understanding to allow you the confidence to participate in the theatre, film and television arena.
You will experience the highest level of training, taught by tutors from both Ireland and abroad who have worked on blockbuster movies, short films, tv adverts, celebrity clientele and much more.
Head Tutor of the SFX Department is the very talented Christian Kotey. Having worked in the TV and film industry for over 15 years working in various roles as a make up artist, director and concept artist and Camera man for over 17 years, Christian has worked as a make up artist for Cirque du soleil, feature films, sci fi, horror and fashion shows.

Understand the principles of bald cap making and application.Acquire the necessary skills to demonstrate the measuring techniques and construction of a cap pattern/template.

3 looks based on SFX and Character Creation
This course also includes a photoshoot at the end of the course. Students have the opportunity to create 3 Special Effects and TV & Film looks for their essential portfolio. The course investment is €3995. A deposit of €1000 is required to secure your place on the course and the remainder of the course cost can be paid in installments during the duration of the course.
